April 24, 2023
On April 24, 2023 a Goshen Elementary parent attempted to read a letter that her daughter had written in support of her teacher. On this date multiple students and parents spoke out in favor of this beloved teacher whose contract for the next school year was not renewed. This was the only person this day to not be allowed to speak and the Board's justification as to why she was censored. Below are the videos and events of this date as well as the letter from the little girl that the Board does not want you to see or hear...

"Mrs Scheider was my 5th grade teacher. She helped me so much. She was the only teacher who taught me math perfectly. I'm in a educational school called Saint Mary Academy and she prepared me for middle school. though, I did not know I was going to go to Saint Mary Academy she still prepared me better than most schools. She was always there for me when I needed her. She helped me with every little problem, and understood me and my personality very well. When I was in 4th grade she was the one who everyone was talking about. everyone wanted her as a teacher. She wasn't strict, she was helpful and caring. no other teacher taught me how to learn so well. I really want goshen elementary to return Mrs. Scheider back to her teaching next year so younger students can feel the way i felt in 5th grade.
Sincerely, elly ana Bole."
